Hari ni aku ambik medical leave. Sebab sangat penat buat kerja luar semalam. Aku rasa ada la aku mengembara 100+ kilometer ke beberapa tempat di area Damansara (why are there so many kinds of Damansara anyway?). Lagi best kalau kau salah amik jalan sekitar kawasan-kawasan sana sebab semuanya pakai highway, so nak pusing balik tu memang azab. Aku tak suka kena pegi field work ke area Damansara, apa jugak jenis Damansara la. Tapi alhamdulillah, semalam siang tak panas terik. Kesian motosikal aku, 2 kali isi minyak full-tank so korang boleh bajet la berapa jauh dia 'berjalan' semalam.

So pagi tadi aku ke Klinik Kesihatan Kajang. Tak mampu nak gi klinik swasta, lebih-lebih lagi duit gaji bulan lepas tak masuk lagi ni. Cam biasa, kena check blood pressure dulu lepas duduk depan doktor. Doktor gadis. I mean, I couldn't confirm whether she's a girl or a woman, but she wears spectacles and was masked. And I happen to have a 'thing' with females wearing spectacles. Heh. And the masked face makes it more interesting. Mysterious la konon-konon.

Then she wrapped the tape or whatever it was to my right arm to check on my blood pressure. At this point, my right arm was extended straight to her chest. I tried to play it cool. To cut things short, she said it was high. I asked what did she mean by 'high'? Too high? A little bit high? Because normally doctor, my readings are just a bit on top of par (normal). The way she tried to convince me it was high made me go, "OK, that's not good,".

After getting the M.C., I left and went back home. I Googled on blood pressure reading. OK, since I got no history of being cardio-sick (hopefully this will lasts), I'm pretty sure I'm in hypertension mode. Level 2. That's.....wicked (in a bad way perhaps?). Or maybe, just maybe, it was a misreading. You see, my arm was extended and my heart went "Oh shit, it's too near, I'm gonna to touch it (not by intention)", pounding so crazy for that scared/excited/embarrassed moment. No? ~lol~

Jadi sayangilah diri anda semua OK? Jangan menggatal dengan doktor perempuan. Atau doktor lelaki bagi yang perempuan.
